The academic partners of the Inter-oPEn consortium are top universities recognised for their strengths in power electronics, power systems and energy law. They are central to the programme and are responsible for recruiting and hosting doctoral candidates. These partners provide access to advanced research facilities and dedicated supervision. Each doctoral candidate will be supervised by at least one supervisor from their home institution and will receive additional support from a host partner during secondments.
Together, the academic partners offer specialised training and workshops to ensure that each doctoral candidate receives a high quality training. They also enrol candidates in accredited doctoral programmes. By combining their expertise, the academic partners drive Inter-oPEn’s innovative research and help shape the future of power electronics based energy systems.
