Decarbonation goals

Resource description

🚧 works in progress 🚧

The world set themselves, and refine, debarbonation goals and measures through the UN‘s COP process, based on the IPCC compilations. The most recent targets have been set in 2015 in Paris, while later COPs are devoted to coordinate actions to meet the Paris Agreement goals.

In line with the Paris Agreement, the EU aims to be climate-neutral by 2050 – an economy with net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. This objective is at the heart of the European Green Deal. Check 2050 long-term strategy (europa.eu) for more details.
