“Training Module 1 & 2”, also “Doctoral Candidate Kickoff Meeting” for Inter-oPEn, a Doctoral Network composed of 10 researchers and 21 project partners in total, takes place from 6th May to 9th May 2025.

This event marks the beginning of the doctoral candidates’ collaborative research.

The project kick-off will include an introduction to the project structure, sessions on open science, communication, dissemination, and diversity, a meeting with main and co-supervisors, as well as a session on industry expectations. TM1 will provide an “Introduction to power electronics for renewable energy integration (KUL)”. TM2 will cover the “Introduction to (open-source) software aspects of resilient power grids (RWTH, TU Delft) with CRESYM”. The kick-off workshop of the three research WPs will complete the initial launch activities.
